Our training is a 9-week, consecutive program that runs all year. Classes are held Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 3:00pm.

Students can expect the course to consist of about 80% Hands-On-Training and 20% Bookwork. Topics and education will include:

    (with non-expiring card issued by the DOL)
  • Electrical Safety
  • Material and Tool Identification
  • Common Electrical Symbols
  • National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Conduit Bending
  • Underground Installation
  • Light Fixture Installation
  • MC Cable Installation
  • Box Fill
  • Grounding
  • Device Installation (Plugs and Switches)
  • Electrical Service Installation
  • Mounting Methods
  • Raceway Support Systems
  • Electrical Phases and Voltages

Students will be expected to come to class ready to perform activities that simulate real-world installation procedures in real world elements and environments.
